A mock fire and evacuation drill involving students from classes I to XII and the teachers was conducted at Darshan Academy, Meerut, on April 10, 2023. A group of teachers and student volunteers armed with the paraphernalia required for firefighting and rescue operations positioned themselves at vantage points to guide and assist the students in the drill. The students were successfully escorted by their subject teachers to the school ground within 4.5 minutes after the hooter sound. The students learnt about firefighting techniques, rescue operations, and how to respond swiftly in emergencies.
