Darshan Academy, Meerut, proudly celebrates the outstanding achievements of its young chess prodigies at the Bareilly Blitz Rating International Chess Tournament 2026, organized by the UP Chess Sports Association on July 12, 2026. Competing among 648 participants, Nishtha Tyagi (Class IX-A) secured an impressive 3rd position in the women’s category, bringing laurels to the school. Atharva Tyagi (Class VIII-C) boosted his International FIDE Rating to 1537 with a remarkable gain of 95 rating points, while Shorya Patel (Class VII-C) earned his first International FIDE Rating, marking a significant milestone in his chess journey.
