Republic Day was celebrated with great pride and enthusiasm at Darshan Academy, Meerut. The programme commenced with a flag-unfurling ceremony, filling the campus with a sense of patriotism and unity. Students and staff stood in respect as the National Flag was hoisted, followed by a moment of reflection on the values of the Indian Constitution and the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters.
The celebration was further enriched by a patriotic song parody performed by the school choir, which conveyed a love of the nation and inspired the audience. Adding colour and creativity to the event, students of Classes VI to IX showcased paintings of renowned freedom fighters, highlighting their contributions to India’s independence. Sweets were distributed to all students and staff before dispersal, spreading joy and togetherness, and the programme concluded on a happy and patriotic note.
