The Bijnor Chess Tournament (Rapid) Vol-1, a distinguished district-level competition organized by the Bijnor District Chess Association in collaboration with the District Administration, was held on May 11, 2025, at the Chess Club, Indira Bal Bhawan, Bijnor. The event brought together 98 of the district’s most promising young players, each competing with skill, strategy, and determination. In this arena of intellect and focus, Nishtha Tyagi of class VIII stood out as a brilliant contender, securing the 2nd position in the women’s category with her calculated moves and calm demeanor. Atharva Tyagi of class VII also showcased exceptional perseverance and tactical insight, achieving 9th place in the competitive open category. Their stellar performances brought immense pride to the Darshan Academy, Meerut, serving as a testament to the school’s commitment to holistic development and excellence beyond the classroom.
